Below mentioned documents are required to apply to get a learner’s permit:

  • Orignal CNIC along with copy of CNIC
  • Ticket of Rs. 60 for each category (issued by General Post Office and Learners Permit Office)
  • Medical certificate (issued by authorized medical practitioner)

Learner permits are issued on daily basis with the validity of 6 months. Get a Highway Code Book of traffic rules & regulations when applying for Learner Permit.

Regular Driving License

  • Copy of CNIC
  • 3 Passport size photographs

  • Medical Fitness Certificate (only for the candidates of the age of 50 years or above)
  • Application form (A)
  • Original learner permit (at least 42 days within validity period)
  • Paste relevant ticket on the document
  • Rs. 180 on STR form have to be deposited in the branch after passing the test.

International Driving License

Necessary Documents

Below mentioned Documents required for International Driving License:

  • Attested Copy of CNIC
  • Attested Copy of Valid Driving License (issued by the licensing authority)
  • 2 attested passport size photographs (one each from front and back)
  • Attested Copy of Passport (valid for at least 6 months with visa affixed of country to be visited)
  • Ticket of Rs.22 for court fee
  • Ticket of Rs.60
  • Rs. 180 on STR form have to be deposited in the branch after passing the test.

Note: International Driving Licenses are issued on the day of receiving the application. Applicant will bring original CNIC, driving license and passport.

Renewal of License

  • Diary report of misplaced license from relevant Police Station and must be submitted within 15 days from reported date

Endorsement of License
